General Terms & Conditions

1. General

All our villas accommodate a maximum number of guests, which is stated in our descriptions, and must be adhered to unless otherwise agreed to prior to receipt of full and final payment.

Reservations shall be for a specific number of guests, which may not be exceeded, unless this has been authorized by HOMESWEETHOMEBALI.

All villa guests must (in accordance with the Laws of Indonesia) be registered with the authorities within 24 hours of arrival at their destination. A photocopy of each guest’s passport will be requested by the staff upon or shortly after arrival at their villa. The cost of the registration is 50.000 rupiah.

2. What’s included?

Our private villas come fully equipped with linen, towels, cooking utensils etc.

The villa rental includes all the staffs, linen and towel changes, water, electricity, gas, internet wifi, tv cable and maintenance of swimming pool and garden. Any defects and deficiencies must be reported within 24 hours of your arrival otherwise it will be assumed that everything is in order.

3. What is Not Included?

The villa rental prices do not include personal, travel and cancellation insurance, food and beverages, in-house massage and spa treatments, cooking chef and babysitter and other similar extras unless priorly agreed otherwise in writing.

4. Payments and Cancellations

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost is required to secure your booking.  Payments can be made by bank transfer or paypal.

Final payment is due to be paid at the date of your arrival or not later than day after the check-in.

Final payments are non-refundable.

5. Terms of Payment

Payments for the letting of private villas do not follow the Travel Industry standard. Payment by Travelers cheques, and other Personal cheques will not be accepted.

6. Altering Your Booking

Altering your booking can only be made in writing by email.

Alteration to booking period can only be accepted upon availability of the villa. If your new period falls in different season where higher price is applicable, you will have to pay the additional cost accordingly. If your new period falls in different season where rental price is lower, no refund will be paid. If your new period is longer than your initial period, you will have to pay the additional cost. If your new period is shorter than your initial period, no refund will be paid.

7. Check-In & Check-Out

Check-IN-Time: 14:00 PM

Check-OUT-Time: 11:00 AM

Late Check-Out depends on our villa availability, the cost of it is 50% of the night rate during that period of the year.

8. Hirer’s Responsibility

The hirer is responsible for taking all reasonable care of the property and its contents. At the end of the hire period, the property and its contents, including all equipment, furniture, utensils, etc. The hirer shall ensure that no member of the party engages in any activity in or around the villa and swimming pool which may cause damage, offence to the neighbours, pollution to the water or damage to the structure or filtration equipment, this includes unacceptable anti-social behaviour.

9. Damage to Villa and its Contents

Except in the case of normal wear and tear, the hirer will be responsible for making good any damage to the villa or its contents which has occurred due to negligence, willful damage or irresponsible behaviour on the part of those occupying the villa or their guests. Such damage must be immediately reported to the villa manager. The cost of the replacement or damage must be paid for by the hirer prior to departure.

10. Responsibilities

The villa owner is not responsible for any circumstances beyond their control including, but not limited to, mechanical breakdown, illness, accident, as well as failure of any public service supply.

11. Building Work

In the event of building works taking place by local authorities, private developers or neighbours, it is important to note that we are not responsible for such work, are unable to stop such work taking place or unable to control the level of noise, neither can we be responsible for any building works that take place during a holiday.

12. Liability

We reserve the right at any time; in it’s sole and absolute discretion, to refuse any person as a member of accommodation party.
