SEMINYAK: where to eat

Seminyak is different from the rest of Bali, it is trendy and full of expats from all around the world that get together to live their dream life in Bali, that’s why Seminyak can be considered a mix of different cultures which is reflected in the many different restaurants that you will find in the area, French, Asian, Italian… you will find what you are looking for in Seminyak.

If you want to taste real Italian flavors you should head to Rolling Fork (Jl kunti 1 6a) for a typical Italian breakfast or for their unique home made pasta just like you would have if you were in Italy! Try the pizza in Casa Loca (Jl Mertanadi 62) made in wood oven, it is the best that you can have in town and while you are in Jalan Mertanadi don’t forget to stop by Gusto the “ice cream spot”.

Made’s Warung (jl raya Seminyak) is highly recommended for Balinese and Indonesian food, the restaurant has a nice courtyard where you can enjoy Balinese dances and other shows almost every night of the week. At lunch I suggest to try Warung Ocha (Jl raya Seminyak) that has a variety of Indonesian and International food, located just in the center of Seminyak it is a good starting point if you want to do some shopping.

The top of fine dinning in Seminyak are Metis (Jl Petitenget 6), Sardine (Jl Petitenget 21 and The Pearl (Jl doublesix), these three French restaurants serve amazing quality dishes in a romantic and elegant environment.

If you like vegetarian cuisine you must try Zula (Jl Dhyana Pura), they have a large variety of tasty vegetarian dishes and particular juices that you will find only here. You should try their seitan kebab and their deserts, healthy but delicious!
